11 new places to check out in St. Louis.

Today Eater returns to St. Louis, MO to focus on 11 newish bars and restaurants that have been garnering some serious buzz. Just like last time around, Eater has asked St. Louis Post-Dispatch restaurant critic Ian Froeb for his picks of the hottest openings of the past 12 months.

It's a quirky list this time. There's a bicycle-focused bar serving Russian food (HandleBar), a suburban drive-thru turning heads for its puffy tacos (Fort Taco), and a butcher/sandwich destination from one of the city's chefs to watch (Bolyard's Meat & Provisions).
