An attempt to sweeten the idea of a Christie presidency?
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie on Tuesday officially announced his candidacy for President of the United States. Christie apparently plans to win Americans' votes the same way some poor sap would try to win a date for Valentine's Day: by sending out chocolates. At least two New Jersey media outlets received Christie-themed candies Tuesday.

The sweet treats reportedly were provided by a Livingston, N.J., chocolate maker. If Christie doesn't take the White House next November, perhaps he can fall back on a career in confectionaries.
