Tonight at 6 p.m. CST, the James Beard Awards will be broadcast live from the Lyric Opera House in Chicago. This evening's ceremony honors food and beverage professionals in the restaurant and chef categories (2016 finalists); the Book, Broadcast, and Journalism Awards were announced last week.
