Tom Brady’s New $200 Cookbook Is Complicated

The quarterback calls it a" nutritional manual"

NFL and #deflategate star Tom Brady recently listed a cookbook, or "nutrition manual," for sale on his website. The price? A cool $200. Presumably it will outline the strict diet he and his model wife Gisele Bundchen have already told the media all about: By this point, we know the Patriots quarterback doesn't drink coffee, and he doesn't believe Frosted Flakes are actually food. Now, he can teach loyal fans the proper way to eat on a daily basis.

"TB12 Nutrition Manual is a limited-edition 'living document' containing information about our core TB12 nutritional philosophies and featuring a library of 89 seasonally inspired recipes that you can use to support your TB12-aligned nutrition plan," reads the official description. Whatever all of that means. Incredibly, the initial printing of the book sold out, according to Brady's website. Pre-orders are being taken for the next round.

The cookbook's covers are made from natural wood and feature a laser-etched TB12 logo and title. It's meant to be "modified and expanded" over time. Brady's camp will send customers new recipes as they are developed, and because the book can be disassembled, the new pages can be added to the collection. Hopefully the quarterback won't charge customers for the updates, because $200 for the original product is already pretty steep.
