In-N-Out Goes Animal-Style in Taiwan With Four-Hour Pop-Up

A previous pop-up in Singapore sold out in five minutes

The whole world loves In-N-Out: The California-based cult favorite is blessing Taiwan with a brief taste of its burgers and fries today with a pop-up in the capital city of Taipei.

The pop-up happens today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Goodies Cuisine Cafe & Bistro in the Da’an district, reports The News Lens, and will serve Double-Doubles, lettuce-wrapped "Protein-style" burgers, and the sloppy Animal-style burgers, which include mustard-fried patties, extra Thousand Island-style spread, grilled onions, and pickles.

In-N-Out's previous pop-ups in Asia have proved wildly successful, with a 2012 appearance in Singapore selling out in just five minutes.

The beloved burger chain has more than 300 locations across California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Texas, and Oregon, but has yet to expand internationally. A rep for In-N-Out said of the pop-ups, "... they are just one part of our efforts to promote and expand our brand as well as determine the best way to continue reaching out to customers around the world. We do not have any immediate plans to open a permanent restaurant there but this special event will help us make future decisions."
