Today, Eater once again returns to Rome, Italy to focus on nine newish restaurants that have been garnering some serious buzz. Like last time around, app author and upcoming cookbook author Katie Parla has kindly offered up her picks of the hottest openings and relaunches of the past twelve months. Gastropub fare is popping up across the city (Luppolo Station, Stavio), a hot Florence gelateria has happily planted a flag in Rome (Carapina), and Sicilian-style dishes are finding a welcome home in Trastevere (Dot).
