A good deed.
The country's largest beer producer has halted beer production in order can water. According to NBC News, Anheuser-Busch — the makers of Budweiser, Bud, Goose Island, Kirin, Stella — is canning water for victims of the recent mass flooding and storms in Texas and Oklahoma. Its Georgia-based factory is now only canning water as of late Wednesday.
The company plans to produce 50,000 cans of water for victims of the historic storms in parts of Texas and Oklahoma, where thousands have been displaced and many businesses, including restaurants, remain closed.
The cans will be given to the Red Cross; the disaster relief organization will then deliver them to those in need in the two affected states. The water is expected to reach victims by Sunday, reports USA Today.
