The 11 Hottest New Restaurants in Phoenix, March 2016

Where to eat in the Arizona capital.

Today, Eater returns to Phoenix, Arizona to focus on 11 new bars and restaurants that are garnering some serious buzz. This time around, Eater has asked local food journalist and Pen & Fork editor Gwen Ashley Walters to select the hottest openings of the past 12 months.

Among her picks are not one but three (!) speakeasy-inspired bars, each with its own flavor (Melinda's Alley, Second Story Liquor Bar, and the Ostrich). There's also a Scottsdale pizzeria headed up by a longtime Pizzeria Bianco lieutenant (Craft 64), a new Southern concept from the team behind the popular restaurant Crudo (Okra), and a barbecue joint bringing an obscure style of smoke to town (Smokehaus).
