Where to eat in Stockholm, Sweden
Today, Eater returns to Stockholm, Sweden to focus on 10 new restaurants that have been garnering some serious buzz. It's been about a year since the last Stockholm Heatmap and once again food and wine writer Per Styregård has shared his picks for the hottest opening of the past 12 months or so.
From his picks, it's clear that food hall fever has his Stockholm — whether at a theater-inspired space offering casual bites from eight of the city's top chefs (Teatern) or at full blown markets that also have space for dining (Food Village, Stockholms Matmarknad). There's also plenty of omakase-inspired tasting menus, whether they lean towards sushi (Imouto) or the fantastically meaty (Omakase Köttslöjd). Also keep an eye out for biodynamic wine lists, charcuterie aplenty, and obsessively local fare across many of the venues.
