Today, Eater returns to Cleveland, Ohio to focus on 11 newish restaurants that have been garnering some serious buzz. As like last time around, Cleveland Scene dining editor and cookbook author Douglas Trattner has offered up his picks for the hottest openings of the past year or so.

Among his recommendations are a speakeasy cocktail bar tucked behind a day spa (Quintana's), Neapolitan pies from a "pizza savant" (Citizen Pie), and a seafood-focused restaurant with a view (Alley Cat Oyster Bar). Also on the list: a beer shop and bar with a crazy poutine obsession (Banter), a Lowcountry-inspired casual eatery (Chow Chow Kitchen), and a relocated, reinvigorated version of a local favorite (The Black Pig).
