Inspirational Trumpism to Be Removed from Honest Tea Bottle Caps

It's probably his least controversial quote to date.

Contentious Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's windbaggery is produces a seemingly endless supply of sound bite-worthy quotes and at least one less controversial bit of wisdom on the bottom of an Honest Tea bottle cap. However, the organic tea company says is distancing itself from the controversial billionaire and his living brethren.

According to the Associated Press, Honest Tea is in the process of removing a Trumpism from its lineup of inspirational bottle cap quotes. Customer Paul Shapiro drew attention to the quote in a photo he tweeted Sunday evening. The cap reads, "If you're going to think anyway, you might as well think big." Shapiro tells the AP he was surprised to see the candidates statement on his bottle. "I usually don't think of organic green tea consumers as target demographic for Donald Trump." In response to the post, Honest Tea tweeted, "We're in the process of updating the quotes on our caps as we try to refresh the quotes every few years."

Honest Tea's co-founder Seth Goldman says the company was already in the process of phasing out the quote adding that the parent company Coca-Cola has advised the beverage maker to focus on using quotes from people who have died in order to avoid the risk offending consumers. "There's nothing objectionable to the thought," Goldman says of the Trumpism.

Trump, who has vowed to abstain from eating Oreos, has angered numerous consumers and business owners with his inflammatory rhetoric. His company is currently in the midst of a heated legal battle with two prominent chefs in Washington, D.C. who backed out of hotel restaurant deals with Trump after he made controversial, fear mongering comments about immigrants. Meanwhile, his visage has become a popular piñata
