Alton Brown Announces New Live Tour: 'Eat Your Science'

Brown will hit 40 cities this time around.

Food Network star and bow tie connoisseur Alton Brown is hitting the road again, this time with a brand new tour. Brown has seen much success with his "Edible Inevitable Tour," which a press release says had shows in 100 cities over the span of two years. Now, Brown will bring a new show — called "Eat Your Science" — to 40 different cities across the U.S.

Like his previous live shows, the "Eat Your Science" tour will feature "comedy, talk show antics, and multimedia presentations." The show's famed use of ponchos for audience members will make a return as well, just this time they will be "larger and more protective." The upcoming tour will also feature a slew of new additions like new puppets, new songs, "potentially more dangerous experiments," and fire. "You'll see things that I was never allowed to do on TV," Brown promises in the release.

Brown's "Eat Your Science Tour" kicks off in April 2016 in Charleston. He will then head to 39 other cities over two months including Atlanta, Baltimore, Detroit, San Diego, and Tulsa. Tickets go on sale October 9 and can be purchased here. Checkout the full list of tour dates and stops below:
