— With Halloween right around the corner, American youths will no doubt be tempted by evil spirits to commit minor acts of vandalism. With that in mind, at least one grocery store is attempting to stay one step ahead of those darn kids by prohibiting the sale of eggs to minors until November 1.

There's no word on whether the store is actually asking to see ID from suspiciously youthful shoppers attempting to purchase eggs.
— Anheuser-Busch InBev is attempting to grow its massive beer empire with the takeover of rival SABMiller, but the companies are still trying to work out an agreement. SABMiller is expected to ask its British regulator for an extension of its Wednesday deadline for the formal takeover offer, otherwise a deal won't be able to go through for another six months.
— New Yorkers who long to take their dogs out to lunch owe a debt of gratitude to Governor Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo has signed a bill, over the objection of New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, that allows canines to accompany their owners in outdoor areas of restaurants. The bill was was introduced in March and was passed by the New York State Assembly in June.
