The alleged homicide occurred after an earlier dispute.
Tragic news out of Oklahoma City: Oklahoma labor commissioner Mark Costello was killed in a stabbing Sunday at an outpost of local restaurant chain Braum's, and his son Christian has been arrested on a first-degree murder charge. Police told KOCO-TV Mark Costello was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
Mark Costello and his son reportedly had an earlier dispute and had agreed to meet at the restaurant. Witnesses saw Christian Costello stab his father multiple times in the head and neck before they were able to detain him until police arrived. Records show he has suffered from mental health issues, according to the Associated Press.
Unfortunately, this is only the latest incident involving murder at eateries across America. In June, one Florida restaurant employee stabbed a co-worker to death during an argument over gumbo spices. Earlier that month, an Applebee's manager in Georgia was shot and killed in his restaurant's parking lot.
