Video: McDonald's Customer Pulls Gun After Drive-Thru Order Dispute

Not again.

No one enjoys having their drive-thru order messed up, but does it really merit pulling out a deadly weapon? A guy in Murray, Utah apparently thought so. According to Fox 13 in Salt Lake City, a McDonald's drive-thru customer used his cell phone to capture an altercation between a restaurant employee and a customer that culminated in the latter pulling a gun.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday; the beginning of the video shows a drive-thru worker yelling back and forth through the window with a Subaru Outback full of men. Then the car pulls out of the drive-thru line and a man gets out of the car, aiming a gun and walking in the direction of the drive-thru window.

As you'll hear in the video, the guy's friends seem pretty enthusiastic about getting on WorldStarHipHop, a site that's known for posting viral videos of fights — but luckily one of his friends has the presence of mind to restrain him and get him back into the car. (Fair warning: The video contains more than its fair share of profanity.)

An employee at the store — which is an independently owned franchise — was unable to comment on the situation, and McDonald's corporate did not immediately respond to a request for a statement. Police say they have yet to identify the men in the video, but given the clear depiction of their faces and vehicle, it's surely only a matter of time.

As insane as it may seem to pull out a deadly weapon over a fast food order, this isn't an isolated incident A Nashville man pulled a gun on a McDonald's employee after a burger was missing from his order, and more recently, a California police officer was arrested for pointing a gun at Jack in the Box employees when he felt his order was taking too long. And it gets worse: In 2014, a Michigan woman fired a gun through a McDonald's drive-thru window after a worker forgot to put bacon on her burger.
