Celebs feasted on 30 pounds of edible gold dust.
Last night the 88th annual Academy Awards went down in Hollywood, and latte art star Leonardo DiCaprio finally snagged his long-awaited Oscar for his role in The Revenant. How does one prepare for such a momentous career milestone? Leo was apparently seen scarfing pizza in a corner by himself at the awards pre-party, according to E News. Said pizza was provided by LA hot spot Jon & Vinny's; other celebs who partook in the pre-Oscars carb fest included Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.
Further proving that celebrities really are just like us: They too needed snacks to make it through the three hours of Chris Rock jokes and boring acceptance speeches. Thankfully, Rock had the forethought to bring his daughter and her Girl Scout troop along, and they reportedly sold $65,423 worth of cookies to the wealthy audience. (Stars who partook included Matt Damon, Tina Fey, and Mindy Kaling.)
But what did the host eat to fuel up before hosting the year's most prestigious awards show? Thank goodness for McDonald's all-day breakfast:

Later, after all the golden statuettes were handed out and Chris Rock had cracked his last joke, it was time for the official afterparty, known as the Governors Ball. As always, this swanky soiree was catered by chef legend Wolfgang Puck, and it was quite the affair. This year's selection of fancy hors d'oeuvres included tuna tartare in sesame miso cones, avocado toast, mini baked potatoes with caviar, taro root tacos with wild mushrooms, and Wagyu short ribs. (No word yet on whether or not Adele made another post-show In-N-Out run, as she did after the Grammys.)
