The Food Surgeon Dissecting Oreos and Reese's Cups Is Strangely Relaxing

People have all sorts of weird procedures for eating Oreos and Reese's peanut butter cups, but one YouTube channel is taking candy deconstruction to another level. In this video, a mysterious figure known only as "The Food Surgeon" constructs their own dessert mashup by performing a "peanut-butter-ectomy with Oreo crème transplant."

Described as "a culinary practitioner not qualified to perform surgery of any kind," the creator dons blue surgical gloves and wields an array of scalpels, razor blades, and shiny tweezers to dissect and recombine foods including candy, cookies, and mandarin oranges. From the delicate unwrapping of the Oreos and chocolate to the quiet chirping noise in the background, the series definitely appeals to the ASMR crowd. Check out the full video below:
