The pre-Super Bowl delivery struggle is real.
On Sunday millions of American football fans will huddle around televisions to watch the Carolina Panthers duke it out against the Denver Broncos in hopes of bringing home a shiny trophy and some gaudy championship rings. Many of these same fans will also likely be consuming copious amounts of beer (though not as much as some outlets have reported) to wash down their nachos, hot wings, and other comestibles.
In order to feed the mania, at this moment, tractor-trailers across the country are delivering watery beers to neighborhood taverns and liquor stores — some with more success than others.
As it turns out, Super Bowl 50's Bay Area turf isn't too friendly to beer deliveries. NBC reports that at least three separate beer trucks hauling Bud Light, Miller Light, and Coors Light have bottomed out and become stuck on San Francisco's notoriously hilly streets. The intersection of Jones and California Street appears to be particularly treacherous.
San Francisco does not care about Bud Light. Not even during the Super Bowl. http://pic.twitter.com/PYpDv5OE6t

Forget the game: San Francisco has already won the Super Bowl of stuck beer trucks. http://pic.twitter.com/YEHLq0NHYJ

Perhaps San Franciscans would be better off sticking with craft beer.
