She may have overreacted.
Judging by the reality TV show that's made them famous, most "dance moms" have no problem with screaming at young children to push them toward perfection. So it shouldn't be a surprise that the smallest perceived slight from a mass-market pizza chain might send them into a fit of rage. Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller proved that theory accurate Thursday when she encouraged her two million-plus Instagram followers to harass a Santa Monica Pizza Hut, reports TMZ.
Miller posted a message on her Instagram account, encouraging fans to "Call this number quick! Ask for the idiot who keeps hanging up on paying customers!" Apparently, Miller called Pizza Hut and inquired about the chain's "$5 pizza deal," which wasn't offered at that particular location. After a heated conversation, the reality TV person claims a manager hung up on her, which inspired the Instagram post.
TMZ reports the Pizza Hut outpost was flooded with calls Thursday night, and the company has reached out to Miller and asked her to take down the post. So far, she hasn't budged.
One has to imagine Miller won't stay mad at Pizza Hut for long. After all, when the chain is offering crust stuffed with tater tots and garlic knots, who could stay away?
