The 93-year-old legend is having the best year ever
Hot sauce carrying pop idol Beyoncé dropped her much-anticipated visual album Lemonade on Saturday for a legion of HBO subscribers. As first-reported by Mashable, the videos featured a slew of cameos from black women, including Serena Williams, Quvenzhané Wallis, and the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown, and Eric Garner. New Orleans' culinary legend Leah Chase of Dooky Chase also made an appearance, seated in a high-backed chair and channeling some serious black girl magic.

Chase was already having the best year ever. The Queen of Creole turned 93 this year and is being honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's James Beards. Still, the chef thinks Dooky Chase could be better. Her restaurant has served civil rights leaders and President Obama has even stopped by the eatery for her famous gumbo, shrimp Creole, and fried chicken.
Of course, this isn't the first time Bey has alluded to a restaurant in her lyrics. A line from "Formation" caused weekend sales to spike at Red Lobster. The full Lemonade album is now available on Tidal. Watch the trailer for the infidelity-themed music videos below:
