'Mind of a Chef' Scores Five Daytime Creative Arts Emmys

David Kinch and Gabrielle Hamilton took the Outstanding Culinary Host category

The winners of the 43rd Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmys were announced on Friday evening. PBS's cerebral cooking series Mind of a Chef cleaned up, scoring Emmys in five categories and tying with The Young and the Restless for most awards of any show nominated this year. Leading the pack, chefs Gabrielle Hamilton and David Kinch won for Outstanding Culinary Host.

The series also received Emmys for Outstanding Directing in a Lifestyle/Culinary/Travel Program, Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation, Outstanding Main Title and Graphic Design, and Outstanding Cinematography. Food Network's Giada in Italy took home an award in the Outstanding Single Camera Editing category and the syndicated series Rachael Ray was awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Multiple Camera Editing.

These aren't the first Emmys for Mind of a Chef. The show, produced by Anthony Bourdain, won the Outstanding Culinary Program category in 2014. Chef Ludo Lefebvre will helm the series' fifth season.
