The band is partnering with grocery chain Aldi for the Australia-only beer.
After more than 40 years of world tours and pissing off parents, AC/DC is the latest band to nab its own beer. The "Highway to Hell" rockers have teamed up with grocery chain Aldi to release a namesake beer in their home country of Australia, reports Yahoo News Australia.
German brewer Karlsberg is producing the lager, which "will come in cans or 5 liter kegs in time for the band's Rock or Bust world tour" that launches in November. The beer also has a fitting tagline: "Geman Beer. Australian Hardrock."
If you're in a rock band that doesn't yet have its own beer, it may be time to reevaluate your career: Queen has a Bohemian Rhapsody lager, Budweiser has a new (Canada-only) Metallica beer, and even lesser known groups like 311 and Hootie and the Blowfish have had beers brewed in their honor.
