Think pain au chocolat, but... better?
Leave it to Japan to improve upon one of life's great gustatory pleasures, the buttery, flaky croissant. Coffee shop chain Pronto is shoving Kit Kat wafers inside its French pastries for a sugary, more processed — and yet, insanely delicious-looking? — take on the pain au chocolat. The new confection reportedly comes in chocolate and matcha flavors, as well as an autumn-appropriate sweet potato version. Fingers crossed this creation makes its way to the good ol' U.S. of A.
