Nine new restaurants to check out in Omaha, Nebraska right now.

Today, Eater returns to Omaha, Nebraska to focus on nine newish restaurants that have been garnerings some serious buzz. As like last time around, Eater has asked Omaha World-Herald food critic Sarah Baker Hansen for her picks of the hottest openings of the past year or so.

Among her picks are a food truck turned brick-and-mortar bringing some serious cred to the local barbecue scene (the Fat Shack), a sophisticated new eatery in a historic space (the Market House), a vegan restaurant with its sights set on Brooklyn (Modern Love), and a bar that's earning a crowd for both its cocktails and its Sunday ramen collaboration pop-up (Nite Owl).
