London House serves British pub food.
Shouty reality TV chef and restaurateur Gordon Ramsay has just opened yet another new restaurant, his second in Hong Kong: The South China Morning Post says London House gastropub is now open in Tsim Sha Tsui. More casual than Ramsay's first Hong Kong restaurant, the Bread Street Kitchen & Bar that opened last year, London House has a menu of British gastro pub favorites like shepherd's pie and fish and chips. There will also be performances from live bands and DJs on the weekends, and outdoor seating that faces the famed Victoria Harbour. (Ramsay's arch-nemesis Jamie Oliver already has a restaurant, Jamie's Italian, in Tsim Sha Tsui.)
Despite some recent legal troubles, Ramsay has been opening new restaurants at breakneck speed: He debuted a restaurant in Atlantic City back in February and is currently working on a third location of steak-and-sushi concept Maze Grill for London and a second restaurant in the Bordeaux region of France. He's also slated to open another branch of Bread Street Kitchen in Dubai this fall and has announced mega expansion plans for Asia including Singapore and Macau.
Ramsay reportedly earned $60 million in 2014, and it would seem he's on target for another big financial year: In addition to the new restaurants, he recently inked a new two-year deal with Fox and is now arguably the network's biggest face of reality TV.
