Rachael Ray Is Now a Furniture Designer

Is Rachael going full-on lifestyle goddess?

Rachael Ray — Food Network star, cookbook author, talk show host, magazine editor, and Tribeca shortlister — has just added "furniture designer" to her laundry list of titles. The EVOO queen, who already has a line of cookware, just exhibited her new home collection at a showroom in North Carolina, the Indianapolis Star reports.

The collection is divided into three parts — SoHo, Upstate, and Highline, each inspired by a different part of New York. (According to a company spokesperson, "She sketched some of the furnishings herself.") Muted tones and silvery-grays abound, and each collection is complete with a multi-function kitchen island, as well as a coordinating dog bed. This isn't the first time Ray's business ventures have targeted pet lovers; she also has a line of dog food (the irritatingly named Nutrish).

Legacy Classic Furniture is producing the collection; it's a sister company of Universal Furniture, which is responsible for the Southern-style Paula Deen Home collection (despite Deen's troubled record with endorsement deals). You too can live like Rachael Ray when the collection goes on sale this fall.
