Wendy's Manager Attacked and Bit by Crazed Customer

Hanger is real.

One Wendy's customer in Richmond, Virginia bit off more than she could chew on Monday night — and it wasn't from her spicy chicken sandwich. According to CBS 6, 25-year-old Wendy's customer Lovely Robinson became so enraged after receiving an incorrect order that she jumped across the counter and bit Wendy's manager Latanya Nelson. It all began after Robinson placed an order for two spicy chicken sandwiches at a Wendy's on Brook Road. After ordering, Nelson explains that Robinson "changed the order from that to four 99-cent chicken sandwiches, so I'm guessing she only had $4 instead of $11."

Apparently, due to a mix-up, Robinson received her original order instead of the four sandwiches and, subsequently, perhaps momentarily, lost her mind. According to Nelson, the Robinson began cursing at Nelson and after threatening to come over the counter, she lunged and began attacking the Wendy's employee. After a scuffle — which included "wild haymakers" which are a type of crazy punch — Nelson says the "hangry" woman "clamped down right above my knee, so I continued to punch her as she was biting me."

Nelson was finally able to fight Robinson off, but not before the crazed woman left a large bite mark above her right knee. Police eventually arrived and Robinson was charged with trespassing, malicious wounding, intentionally damaging property, and preventing law enforcement from making an arrest.

It seems that fast food and violence goes hand in hand for some, as this is certainly not the first time a customer has gone a little nuts at a fast food restaurant. In May, another case of a mixed up order resulted in a violent McDonald's customer chocking the cashier. Last month, Burger King customers attacked an employee after claiming their order took too long. But, not all fast-food employees are crazy, one good samaritan in a Kentucky Chick-fil-A anonymously treated a couple of police officers to an ice cream cone.
