Canadian Woman Drives Dog Sled Through Tim Hortons Drive-Thru

Now that's ingenuity.

Sometimes you just really need a caffeine fix, winter weather be damned. For some that just means trudging down the street to Starbucks in Uggs and a parka, but a Canadian woman recently took more extreme measures: She drove a dog sled to the local Tim Hortons to get coffee and doughnuts.

According to the American Kennel Club, New Brunswick resident Allyson Mitton enlisted the help of her two Border Collies, Braya and Shift, to navigate her town's icy streets and mush all the way to the coffee shop chain's drive-thru window.

Says Mitton: "It was a stormy, blustery day, we were stuck in the house needing a Tim Horton's treat, and so we just drug out the dog sled, hooked up the dogs, and away we went." Upon arrival, Mitton got her coffee and the dogs enjoyed water and Timbits (doughnut holes, for all you non-Canadians).

Only in Canada? This woman decided to hitch a double-double ride to get her double-double treat on a blustery snow day in New Brunswick. Have you ever seen anything like it?

Meanwhile in America, everyone probably relied heavily on their food delivery app of choice to keep them fed while they Netflix-and-chilled through the recent snowstorms that hit the East Coast. Eh, different strokes.
