Stone is co-hosting the show with Cat Cora
Australian-born celebrity chef Curtis Stone is no stranger to American television, and he has another project in the works that should debut soon. Stone, along with former Iron Chef Cat Cora, will co-host and serve as a judge on My Kitchen Rules, a United States adaptation of the Aussie original. While no premiere date has been announced, the Daily Mail reports Stone is currently filming in Los Angeles.
My Kitchen Rules has been a hit for seven seasons in Australia, claiming the top spot in entertainment ratings for the last five years. The U.S. version, set to air on Fox, will feature celebrity pairs competing in a dinner party setting, according to Deadline. The famous faces who have agreed to be on the show include Lance Bass, Brandy Norwood, Ray J, Andrew Dice Clay, Naomi Judd, and Brandi Glanville.
"The unscripted cooking series will pit celebrity duos against each other as they cook and critique each other's food, in Hollywood homes," reads an announcement from Fox. "With escalating rounds of competition, the celebrity duo with the lowest score at the end of each round will be eliminated. The last two teams standing will battle it out in the final round for a pressure-cooker evening during which they will prepare and present their ultimate dining menu."
Stone and Cora previously worked together on Bravo's Around the World in 80 Plates in 2012.
