Despite his billions of dollars, Trump is a noted fast food diner: He even once visited a Burger King drive-thru, although the food was served onboard his private Boeing 757. In other tangentially related Trump news, the New York Times spoke to an Iowa barber who compared his (in)famous hairstyle to "a cinnamon bun."
— Speaking of McDonald's, locations on the central coast of California will celebrate the inventor of the Egg McMuffin tomorrow. The iconic breakfast sandwich was created more than four decades ago by late franchisee Herb Peterson, and Santa Barbara stores will herald Peterson's contribution by slinging $2 sandwiches on Tuesday.
— Shake Shack is preparing to hit Los Angeles, and it will fully embrace the city's culinary history: The soon-to-open West Hollywood location will serve a burger inspired by the city's most famous sandwich, said to have been invented in L.A. sometime in the early 1900s.
