Imbibing sky-high just got a bit easier thanks for San Antonio, Texas' rustically industrial Paramour, the city's first rooftop lounge newly installed as of this past fall. Right off the bat, the bar is already making waves, with guests dropping in for 10-month barrel-aged cocktails and seasonal frozen elixirs, too. Below, barman Christopher Ware organizes a user-friendly, warming combination of dark spirits plus sherry and chocolate.
First Class W.A.S.P.
Makes 1
1 ounce bourbon
1 ounce dark cacao liqueur
1 ounce sherry, such as Osborne
1/8th ounce smokey scotch, such as Laphroaig
Add all ingredients to a rocks glass with a large cube and stir. Garnish with an orange twist.
