Fogle was set to play a small role in the film.
The list of problems for Jared Fogle, famous for losing a bunch of weight and becoming the lead spokesperson for sandwich giant Subway, keeps adding up. After his house was raided as part of an FBI child pornography investigation, Subway suspended its relationship with Fogle and scrubbed his name and face from its brand. Now, he's been dropped from the cast of Sharknado: Oh Hell No, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Fogle wasn't going to have a major roll in the third installment of the Sharknado series, but it instead would have been similar to his cameo in the series' second film. Syfy, which will air the new Sharknado flick on July 22, confirmed to THR Fogle's scene has been cut.
The former face of Subway has not been charged with a crime or arrested in connection with the investigation. However, Fogle has reportedly been named as a suspect, and one anonymous reporter claims he has made inappropriate comments about middle school girls on multiple occasions.
