He also spends time at a traditional pig roast.
The chef and TV host you so desperately want to be BFFs with just went on your dream vacation. It's all in a day's work for Anthony Bourdain, who, as you'll see below, travels to Hawaii on the latest episode of Parts Unknown to feast on the iconic Hawaiian plate lunch and witness a traditional pig roast. For the latter, the pig is wrapped in banana and tea leaves and placed in an underground oven (aka a hole in the ground) filled with lava rocks known as an imu. "Twelve hours later you dig him up and, well, it's party time," Bourdain says. Parts Unknown: Hawaii airs this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on CNN.
