Eater Seeks News Intern for Spring/Summer 2016

Eater's looking for an enthusiastic intern with journalism in their blood to join our team. Eater's editorial intern will work with our Eater.com news and reports teams to (a) research, report on, and write blog posts; (b) research topics related to longer lead coverage; (c) create images and conduct photo research; (d) compile special projects, ranging from potential video scripts to data visualizations to cookbook coverage. In addition to news posts, the intern will come away with fully reported clips to add to their portfolio.

We're looking for an intern who understands Eater's audience, has a strong desire for a career in journalism, and is familiar with food culture. Applicants should have strong writing skills, with bonus points given for photography/Photoshop experience. The internship runs 12-16 hours a week, is a remote position (though candidates based in NYC may use our office) and both paid and college credit positions are available.
